The sapling ..

 I sprouted the very day i was planted,

But the masters son grunted ,

And took the knife which was blunted,

my cry was muted .

 

Though saved by my master;

       my fruits were everyday looted,

soon the day came when i was uprooted 

and was re-rooted ,

 

begone; the fertility,

I was in in-fertility.

 

From the seed,

To the weed,

i weep.
